Jacobs was suspended for the final three games of the regular season, after posting messages detrimental to the team via social media on Saturday. The players did not mind, though. In fact, the reaction in the locker room seems to be in favor of penalizing a player for not being on-
board with the team mindset.
CSN Bay Area's Kevin Kurz is reporting that Ray McDonald was one of those players.
“From the coaching standpoint, they don't want any distractions on the team. He was being a distraction, they felt he was being a distraction, so they felt they needed to do something about it,” McDonald said.
“I guess, if he’s not about the team. And the coaches feel that he’s not trying to help the team. They made the right decision.”
