Tom Tolbert To Join Golden State Warriors Radio Broadcast

KNBR 680's Tom Tolbert will be joining radio play-by-play voice Tim Roye in the booth for many Golden State Warriors broadcasts during the remainder of the regular season.


The addition to Warriors games was announced Friday, with Tolbert doing the color commentary alongside Roye for 10 home games this season. He is set to make his debut January 2, 2013 when the Warriors take on the Los Angeles Clippers in what will be a "white out" game at Oracle Arena.

Tolbert played seven seasons in the NBA, and three of them with the Warriors.

He has been the afternoon host of the "Mr. T Show" (formerly the "Razor and Mr. T Show" from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on KNBR 680 for the last 16 years.
